Barrel Valley Tim won 2 points at Marietta, OH, March 2005

As of August 2005, Tim has earned 14 points, needing only one more to become a champion.

Tim's nephew Max, Barrel Valley Road Warrior, made his debut at the Cocker Spaniel Club of Western Pennsylvania, May 27, 2005 specialty show, winning first in his class, and as of August 2005, he has earned his first 3 points.

By September, Max has four points and is looking forward to more.

September 11, 2005, Tim earned his final point at Laurel Highlands Kennel Club, making him CH Barrel Valley Tim.  He celebrated by going shopping at the show vendors and chose a stuffed porpoise that makes porpoisy sounds.  Way to go Tim!

October 21, 2005, a little over a month after finishing his championship, Tim presented us with the thrill of a lifetime.  At the Laurel Highlands Kennel Association show, Tim won Best of Variety over three other champions, then went on to win Group 1 under judge, Mr. Joe Tacker.  Mr. Tacker told Shannon that he just loved Tim, and he told Joan that he would love to own Tim and breed him to the bitch of his choice.  Tough luck Mr. Tacker, he's our boy, and Shannon wouldn't be able to watch the Steelers games without him!

Barrel Valley is sooo proud of Linda Honsperger and her Barrel Valley kids!!!  By 2009, her Reba, Lincor's It's My Turn, has garnered so many performance titles that it's hard to keep up with them.  Versatility Companion Dog 1, Companion Dog Excellent, Tracking Dog Excellent, Open Agility Jumpers, Canine Good Citizen, and more that I'm sure I have missed.

Linda's Phoenix, Barrel Valley Out Of The Ashes, had Linda convinced that he was going to be a perpetual Peter Pan, never growing up, but he has finally come into his own and earned his CGC, NA, NAJ, CD, TD, to earn his VCD1 title.

Linda credits us with breeding these great dogs, but it has been Linda's dedication to training them that made them what they are. Thank you Linda for proving that they aren't just pretty faces, but what a Cocker Spaniel is meant to be.   here to add text.
